Meet the BOdo Team

Gunjan Patel, PT, MPT, MFDc


Gunjan Patel moved to Idaho in 2017 from India post marriage. She completed her Bachelor’s of Physical Therapy in 2009 and Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2013 from India. She researched “The effects of stretching and strengthening exercises in the thoracic spine for COPD patients” for her graduation program.

Before moving, she worked in India for 7 years in both hospital and outpatient settings. She has extensive experience in orthopedic and neurological conditions. She recently got certified in Myofascial Decompression popularly known as Cupping therapy. When she is not being a PT, Gunjan is a Mom and loves playing with her toddler and her favorite past times are cooking, painting and watching movies.

Jessica Cabral, PTA, GFI, LMc


Jessica Cabral attended Boise State University and Carrington College of Boise where she graduated with a degree in Health Science and Physical Therapy in 2013 and immediately following she then obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant license in Idaho. Jessica has been professionally practicing PT ever since and has continued her love for learning by accumulating 100+ hours of Continuing Education. Her passion lies within teaching and educating her patients how to improve their functional mobility. She makes it her goal to listen to each persons' life story to better understand what they can do in their day-to-day to feel the best they can! Jessica is also certified in Lifestyle Medicine which she integrates into her practice and treatments to teach how to incorporate corrective exercise into each individual lifestyle. She specializes in Spinal Therapy and has a niche for Manual Therapy including: Joint Mobility, Massage, and Myofascial Release. As a PTA, Jessica believes Physical Therapy treatments need to include both Manual and Therapeutic Exercise to obtain optimal functional ability and results.

Jessica is Upcycle's Studio Director and has been an exercise instructor for 10+ years and is certified through AFAA as a Group Fitness Instructor. In her experience, she has enjoyed teaching various group exercise formats including: HIIT, Circuit Training, Yoga Strength, Bootcamps, Kickboxing, Mat Pilates and Cycling. She has always had a passion for health fitness and uses her natural ability to instruct her clients in a way that will help make fitness a lifestyle and always “Get your sweat on with a Smile!
